Residence Application

If you wish to stay for more than three months, you will need to register with the Police Authorities – Migration Sector in Sofia.

The Migration sector will issue a residence certificate for EU citizens (in the form of a card) which will correspond to our residence permit.

The first residence certificate is issued for a period of 5 years.

Upon expiry of the first 5 years, the certificate of permanent residence can be issued.

The documentation to be submitted for the residence request is as follows:
Valid identification document of the customer’s country of origin (passport or identity card)
Health insurance card
Self-certification for residence address in Bulgaria
Rental contract (It will be issued by our company as your registered office)
Receipt of payment of the state tax for the issuance of the residence certificate for EU citizens, amounts to 18 Leva (about 9.00 Euros) for the ordinary service or 36 Leva (about 18.00 Euros) for the urgent service.

Payment will be made at the counters of the Police Migration Sector.

Once all this is delivered, the residence certificate is delivered the next day.

A simple white card with very little data, with the details, the deadline and above all the stamp of the immigration office.

Having achieved this, you can do 2 things at the same time:

The first is to request an identity card for foreigners residing in Bulgaria, fill in the appropriate form.

The second thing you can do is go to the respective Embassy in Sofia and ask to be registered on the list of residents abroad.

After about 10 days you can go back to the immigration office and collect your Bulgarian identity card.

You will also need to have a bank account in Bulgaria and we'll take care of that too, don't worry!
